How to Expedite your Process - Information

Generally, the more information our office has the less time it will take to serve the person with process.

The following information helps to expedite the service of your process. It is usually helpful if you attach a cover letter (letter of explanation-hand written is fine) with the following information:

Who: Is it clear who is to be served- If an individual, is the person's name clearly spelled out? Are you sure that there are no others with the same name, for example, is it possible there is a Junior or Senior? If we need to serve a company is the company name spelled correctly.
Availability: Does this person work at night or during the day? All work locations if this person is mobile, for instance: a construction worker.
Other helpful information: any additional addresses, phone numbers. Driver's license numbers, Dates of birth, employer identification numbers. What kind of trade is this person in? For example, is the person a plumber, nurse, electrician? These occupations require licensing in the State of Texas and some of that information is available for free and on-line.
How can we contact?-Please leave a way to contact you during the day and after 5 p.m. This is just in case the deputy has a question that will help to serve your process faster.
